SCULPTURE

The representation of a drug blister, decontextualized due to exaggerate their original measures. Showing a banal society that search redemption in the belief of the miracles of pharmaceutical products and hope that we're going to be saved from disease and pain, that seems is not different from the base of the religions.

Relief

2014 - Carrara marble. 40x25x7cm

Time, the devourer of all things. A piece that talks about the deception of trying to beat death and time. An analogy with the original meds, the sculpture is made of wood, painted like the real one’s. A survival kit.

Tempus edax rerum

2015 - Carved wood, digital clock. 35x40x35cm

Bubble Wrap

2015 - Alabaster. 40x30x20cm

Bubble wrap is a pliable transparent plastic material commonly used for packing fragile items. Regularly spaced, protruding    air-filled hemispheres (bubbles) provide cushioning for fragile items.

In this piece we transform an ordinary, disposable and ephemeral object in an eternal work. Made of alabaster, a stone whose main characteristic is being translucent. This represent a tactile paradox, an interesting concept that gives to the stone, not only tension and mobility of the plastic, but also gives the appearance.
